How much walking is involved?
Typically 1–2 miles of easy walking on flat terrain. All tours are accessible and move at a relaxed, conversational pace. We stop often — at every great story.
What's your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable but can be rescheduled once at no charge.
Are tours suitable for kids?
Most history and food tours are great for all ages. Ghost tours are recommended for ages 10 and up. Check individual tour pages for specific age guidance.
What if it rains?
Tours run in light rain — Charleston weather is part of the experience! In severe weather we’ll reschedule or issue a full refund. We’ll contact you at least 2 hours before your tour start time.
Where do tours start?
All tours begin at Waterfront Park. Exact meeting details — including a map pin — are included in your booking confirmation email.
How many people are in a tour group?
We keep our groups small — 12 guests maximum per tour. This means you can always hear the guide, ask questions, and get a personal experience rather than a crowd.
Do I need to print my ticket?
No printing needed. Simply show your confirmation email on your phone when you meet the guide at the start of your tour.
Can I book a private tour?
Absolutely! We offer private tours for any group size from 2 to 40 people. You can choose your tour type, date, time, and even customize the route and themes. Visit our Private Groups page for details and to send an inquiry.
